FOOD PROCESSOR
Why we like this:
- bi-level blade so everything gets cut up evenly without needing to push things down
- really good size for chopping up ingredients for one or two meals
- be careful ~ blades are really sharp
FOOD SCRAPER ~ CURVED SPATULA
Why we like this:
- helps spoon out every bit of goodness in pots & pans so nothing is wasted
- this is an absolute must have ~ we keep 3 or 4 around all the time
AIR FRYER
Why we like this:
- simple to use ~ just turn the timer dial to start it
- reduces the time and effort it takes to cook fish and meat
- line the cooking basket with tin foil to save even more time cleaning and to easily collect juices from meats & fish to add to your dogs’ meal
WEIGHING SCALES
We use 2 scales in the kitchen ~ one for general measurement and another for precision weighing.
Why we like these:
- pull out display so readings aren’t blocked by large containers
- sensitive enough to measure 0.1 grams of herbs, powdered spices and crushed egg shells
- for precision scales ~ look for those that can be calibrated to ensure accuracy over time
YUKIHARA POT
Why we like this:
- no chemical coating so nothing scrapes off over time into the food you’re cooking
- light weight, sturdy and easy to clean
- food left unstirred for too long may brown – best type of cooking for this pan is slightly wet (avoid stir frying)
PILL CRUSHER
Why we like this:
- easier to use and clean than to a pastel & mortar
- use to crush supplements into powder before adding to meals
